To keep us all in groups fighting against each other. It causes people to have group bias. I like to keep an open mind. I find people who are very religious are often trapped, sometimes unwillingly by rules or oaths or agreements that don’t serve them. People do things out of obligation ignoring their intuition and justify it by saying it’s for God. If your gut tells you otherwise, listen. That is God. I read my bible and follow my intuition, I pray, I meditate. Is that religion?
I was raised Catholic and learned my “Our Father”, “Hail Mary”, peace be with you, and also with you’s very early in life. It is probably the reason I am so prayerful now. It taught me how to memorize things and retain them for ever. I can recite prayers, lyrics, bible verses, anything I want to keep with me takes a day or two and it’s stuck forever.
