Michelle told me a story once and I was broken hearted and sad.
She wrote a list for Christmas and gave it happily to her dad.
Every night she went to sleep and she would think about it.
He said “if you believe you will receive” so she would never doubt it.
She woke up early Christmas day and unwrapped a religious statue.
Her heart was broken in disbelief, “for this is not what I asked you”.
I asked her what was on her list and she gave me the answer.
Later on that Christmas,
I bought her a box with a tiny dancer.
If you don’t heal your childhood trauma you will take it out on everyone around you. You won’t even try.
